This position will commence at the start of the 2018 academic year.
We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about making a difference for all of our children and who will provide high-quality and engaging learning experiences.
The successful candidate will have excellent skill and knowledge in best practice culturally responsive teaching and will be recognised as a high-quality teacher. They will have the ability to improve learning and student achievement within their classroom, while ensuring that learning is fun, challenging and engaging. They will work collaboratively with others and build high-quality professional relationships with our staff, students, parents and community. They will be committed to our teacher as inquiry process, have a commitment to continuous learning and have a positive work/life balance, along with a good sense of humour. Applicants must have excellent skills in the teaching of numeracy and literacy.
We want a teacher who is prepared to teach across the school, and whilst we will try to match the successful applicant with an appropriate and preferred year level, flexibility is essential. There may be an opportunity for fixed-term leadership units, so please state your curriculum strengths and leadership experience.
