Listed on 16 May 2018, closes on 8 June 2018

Full time, Permanent

Sector: Early learning / kōhanga reo

Role: Certificated teacher

We are looking for a passionate teacher to join our wonderful team in our rural home-away-from-home. We are seeking a teacher who teaches from the heart, who is dedicated to providing a beautiful home for our tamariki to grow, learn and spend their day in. The successful applicant will have love, kindness and respect as the grounding values of their teaching philosophy. We are strongly inspired by the work of Magda Gerber and Emmi Pikler, so knowledge and respect for their work would be an advantage. We are seeking a teacher who will support tamariki, colleagues and whānau in a peaceful and respectful manner.

We pride ourselves in being a beautiful home-away-from-home where all tamariki and kaiako are respected as unique people who grow and develop at their own pace. We are looking for that amazing person who will be a role model in their teaching and who will support their colleagues to strive for excellence.

This position is for our 0 to 3-year-olds lounge.

This position is flexible in hours, and a primary-trained or teacher-in-training may be considered.
