(1) Assistant teacher of technology, full-time, fixed-term, maternity leave for term 3, to teach unit and achievement standard metal and DVC based courses which incorporate new technologies. Training and extensive ongoing support will be given to enable the teacher to incorporate the use of CNC routers, laser cutting and 3D printing into their teaching practice. Would suit a new teacher or an established teacher wishing to develop in these areas. (2) Assistant teacher of food technology and hospitality, part-time (18 hours per week), fixed-term for term 3, with the possibility of term 4 and beyond. Opportunity for either a BT or an established teacher looking to take advantage of the ongoing support, rich programmes and PLD opportunities to gain experience with food technology and/or commercial kitchen environments that a large, well-resourced department can offer.
