A South Auckland Sports Academy has found an innovative way to raise funds for their students’ sporting dreams.
As a major fundraiser, Tamaki Sports Academy offers a free metal collection service, which is an excellent source of work experience for its 15 to17-year-old members.
The academy offers mentoring, coaching and work experience to South Auckland youth who have dropped out of the mainstream school system, but show some sporting talent.
Any old metal will be picked up – from computers, roofing iron, metal piping and venetian blinds, to batteries, car panels, metal shelving, and filing cabinets.
If your Auckland schools wants to dispose of any metal rubbish, please contact Tricia on 09-276 0328.
