On lookout for budding young CEOs

Air NZ is on the hunt for the country’s most promising young leaders to take part in its annual CEO for the Day programme.

Ten senior high school students will be chosen to join the airline’s CEO Rob Fyfe and his executive team for an inspirational day behind the scenes at the national carrier.

Fyfe says: “As a major New Zealand company, it’s important that we play a role in fostering our next generation of leaders.

“It’s a real privilege for me to once again be able to spend some time with these students and give them a taste of the aviation industry and what it’s like to lead a dynamic and award-winning airline.”

Students chosen will take part in a range of exciting activities including a behind-the-scenes tour of the airline’s engineering base and inside the cockpit of a Boeing 747, interactive marketing and strategy sessions, a sneak peak at the innovations being created for the next generation of aircraft interiors at the airline’s top secret design lab and lunch with some of Air New Zealand’s celebrity partners.

Entries for CEO for the Day are open now. Students need to visit www.airnz.co.nz/ceo-for-the-day and tell how they would make a difference if they were CEO of Air New Zealand for a day.

Entries close 5pm on Monday, July 18th.
