‘The Facebook Effect’, David Kirkpatrick, 2010. Chronicling Facebook’s success and mishaps, the author outlines the moral and ethical questions educators can discuss with their students who are citizens of the new cyber world order.
 
‘Born Digital: Understanding the First Generation of Digital Natives’, John Palfry and Urs Gasser, 2008. The authors ask what identity means for young people who have dozens of online profiles and avatars and explore the impact of the internet on creativity and learning.
