GeoGebra and Mathletics collaborate

World-renowned open-source software GeoGebra and the global number one in online maths education, Mathletics, have announced their global collaboration.

This partnership is set to raise the standard of delivering secondary maths education to over 3 million students. Markus Hohenwarter, founder of GeoGebra, says, “we are looking forward to improving math learning for kids worldwide and are excited to bring GeoGebra to students and teachers around the world.”

The education team from Mathletics are currently working closely with teachers around the world, and can now include specially created GeoGebra content to their schools’ training programmes through educational support teams currently located in Australia, NZ, USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Singapore, Hong Kong and South Africa.

Teachers are an integral part of the success of this groundbreaking collaboration as they are the foundation for the creation of quality and learning resources.

Practising educators have now an opportunity to collaborate with the two largest maths organisations in the world. To be part of this global collaboration, please contact your local GeoGebra Institute at www.geogebra.org, or visit the Mathletics Education Team at www.mathletics.co.nz.
