Graduation 2010 at Manukau Institute of Technology (MIT) this week marks an auspicious occasion celebrating the first two doctoral graduates to come out of MIT in amongst a graduating total of 1091.
“Our DBA graduates this year are the first of a swelling number of MBA and DBA students coming up through the ranks,” says Dr Wayne Dreyer, Director of the Southern Cross University MBA programme run at MIT.
“We are of course proud of this achievement and feel privileged to be able to deliver programmes for our students that span from foundation level all the way to doctoral.”
The graduates, their friends and families gathered at the Telstra Clear Pacific Events Centre to honour the successful students late in May.
Among the graduates was Dr Bruce Bryant, DBA graduate, and former Warriors captain, and MBA graduate, Steve Price, both whom were received with rapturous applause and a standing ovation.
