Kids Congress 10th year

This year Kids Congress celebrates its 10th birthday. It is going to be bigger and better than ever. Waimairi and Windsor Schools, along with Core Education are teaming up for this exciting event.

Kids Congress is a massive two-day learning conference. Kids Congress is all about kids, for kids and organised by kids.

The theme that Waimairi and Windsor Schools have created is ‘Take A Break ‘N’ Celebrate.’ The theme is based around fun and celebration.

Around 300 year five to eight students from all over the South Island will be attending the function at the Addington events centre on the 27th/28th of May for this event.

At Addington Raceway we will be working with ICT equipment to make cool projects and take part in highly simulating learning.

Some of the jobs the kids have been given are: VIP Media, Finance, Sponsorship, Guest Services, Web and ICT, Entertainment and Celebration and Breakouts.
The Finance team has been given $30,000 to manage food, ICT gear, teacher release, venue hire and on the last night, a disco.
