New education recruitment partnership formed

From Term One this year, Oasis Education and EDUVAC­/The Education Weekly are pooling their resources, to meet the ever-changing personnel needs of schools and also meet the employment aspirations of teachers wanting to “move-up-the-ladder”.

“By joining forces with a publisher, I believe that through our closer working relationship schools will ultimately gain access to a wider choice of education professionals and get the best from both these recruitment avenues,” said Martin Strang, manager of Oasis Education.

By forming this relationship, Oasis Education is now able to offer a full recruitment service and also advertise any school’s “Situations Vacant” nationwide, through the pages of EDUVAC/The Education Weekly.

With the Education Gazette no longer publishing details of staff vacancies in print, we are excited by our closer relationship with EDUVAC/The Education Weekly and our ability to advertise job details in colour and print.

Mr Strang also commented, that in seeking specialised staff, for subjects like Science and Mathematics, advertising globally via the EDUVAC website, means that Oasis Education now have an additional channel to recruit skilled and qualified teachers from offshore.
