Gardens growing good

Students: Jojo Te Ruki and Annalysse Tinirau from Dawson Primary School, Otara, Auckland.

School teachers around the country were able to register their class in the Fresh ’n Fruity competition that requires classrooms to keep a diary of their garden which is submitted for judging in December this year.

There is a big prize of $10,000 up for grabs for the winning school, plus two runner-up prizes of $5,000 each.

The initiative coincides with the launch of their new packaging, and is designed to engage children’s creativity while teaching them valuable skills on how to care for plants.
