The Big OE Evenings coming soon
Are you thinking of holidaymaking, working or teaching in the UK?
Several years ago, The British High Commission in NZ instigated information evenings, primarily to assist young overseas holiday makers in planning their trip to the United Kingdom.
These popular evening sessions, not only attract the younger travellers seeking advice about work and visa requirements, but the more mature traveller seeking advice in following their profession in the UK.
These information evenings are held twice a year and The British High Commission in NZ employs an organiser to arrange these information evenings.
Teaching professionals will be pleased to learn that most of the major recruitment agencies they are familiar with from the pages of EDUVAC/The Education Weekly will also be at the evening sessions.
Representatives from those companies will be at the sessions to answer questions individuals may have about their own special areas of teaching.
Some off-shore recruitment agencies, also offer teaching opportunities at International Schools, whilst others assist with the more mundane, but essential parts of planning an overseas trip; like bank accounts, tax advice, initial accommodation and mobile phones.
Some airlines and specialist travel organisations will also be at the sessions to assist travellers.
All sessions start at 4.30 p.m. lasting until 7.00 p.m.
