Calling all superheroes!

Plunket is excited to announce the theme for their 2008 Annual Appeal (13th-19th October), ‘Be a superhero for under fives’. They are calling for all superheroes to reveal themselves and use their superpowers, whether that’s through donating time, money, skills or support.

Throughout the week there will be workplace challenges, volunteer collectors, and events taking place around the country. Don a cape or even wear your underwear on the outside on Friday 17th October and take up the Plunket challenge to go to work as a superhero.

All money raised during Annual Appeal will help to provide Plunket services such as Family Centres, Car Seat Rental Schemes, parent groups, parenting education, toy libraries and PlunketLine a toll-free telephone advice service (0800 933 922, 7.00 a.m. to midnight seven days a week).
