Plunket wins an Excellence in the Use of ICT award

Plunket has won the award for Excellence in the Use of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in Health. The award was presented at the 2008 ComputerWorld Excellence Awards in late July. This is great news for the PlunketLine team, the IT, clinical services and technology partners who helped with the project.

In late 2006 Plunket decided to implement a project that brought the support of PlunketLine back in-house, and used multiple locations throughout NZ.

This project drew on state of the art technology which has enabled us to improve the service provided to our clients.

Calls handled increased by 27 per cent and the abandonment rate was substantially reduced. It now sits consistently below 10 per cent. These are excellent achievements!
