New appointments at Kidicorp

Kidicorp, one of NZ’s largest early childhood organisations, has just recently made two appointments to strengthen its management team.

Jo Glen has been appointed group manager for the Wellington region. Jo is responsible for 10 centres and one of her tasks is to build the reputation of Best Beginnings and Early Years.

Prior to this role she was a branch manager of a very successful team. Jo has over 16 years experience in front line management within a service industry environment.

Katrina Scopas has been appointed Kidicorp’s operations manager. Previously general manager of Photo Corporation of NZ, Katrina brings experience in multi-site operations management including project management, training and development and expenditure reviews.

Katrina’s role includes supporting and developing a team of group managers.

Says Wayne Wright, CEO, “People often don’t think of early learning childhood centres as needing management strength and skills. We are lucky to be able to attract exceptionally capable people from the business world to help make us more professional so we can focus on providing excellent education and care in all our centres.”
