‘Problem’ boys

‘Problem’ boys

As a male teacher I could not agree more with Peter Giddon’s Weekly ‘Rot’ article re bored boys becoming ADD or ‘problem’ boys.

It is not only boys who are bored. The teaching system has become so PC that many teachers feel there is no place for them to practise creative and inspiring teaching.

Over the years I have been given no end of ‘PROBLEM’ boys to teach. Mostly they were bored and frustrated but responded well to adventure, risk taking and a bit of healthy humour!
